Run by residents for residents, the RC also work closely with other grassroots organisations like the CCC and selected government agencies to improve the physical environment and safety of the local precint.

Bukit Batok East Emergency Preparedness Group together with the GROs in Bukit Batok East will be organising a "Water Disruption Exercise" on 5 April 09 at the open space infront of Block 291A, Bukit Batok Street 24.
The main objectives of the event is to allow resident understand the important of Emergency Preparedness and to test out the readiness and to strengthen the Constituency EP respond through greater coordination among GRLs and CERT members.
The Organising Committee welcome all residents to support this meaningful event.
