The Residents' Committee (RC) in public housing estate promote neighbourliness, racial harmony and community cohesiveness among the residents within the zone. Run by residents for residents, the RC also work closely with other grassroots organisations like the CCC and selected government agencies to improve the physical environment and safety of the local precint.

Residents of Blk 289A Bukit Batok Street 25 were excited and joyous to stand by at the door with open heart to welcome a very special guest visit on 23 June 2009 at 8pm. Residents were honoured to have Mdm Halimah Yacob, MP for Jurong GRC and Adviser to Jurong GRC GROs who had made time for them. During the visit, Mdm Halimah sincerely gathered valuable feedbacks in regards to their welfare and state of living. House visits also serve as a bridge and platform to bring the MP and Grassroots Leaders closer to the residents.

Nature View RC had successfully organised their 4th Floor Party this year on 21 June 2009 at Blk 288F, 8th Floor. We would like to thank the 50-60 residents and Grassroot leaders who had participated the event. This was really a great opportunity for neighbours to get to know each other better and build closer friendship.It was joyous to have family of all ages come together and promote the kampong spirit. In conjunction with Racial Harmony Month, Jurong GRC will be organizing the Community Concert - Night of Musical Enchantment which will be held on 4th July 2009 , 5.00pm at Singapore Chinese Garden for the residents of all races to come together to celebrate our unique social fabric which is held together delicately by racial understanding and acceptance. Highlights of the event will be performances from Singapore Chinese Orchestra as well as Cultural Performances from various Jurong Grassroots Organisation, which will keep you and your family members entertained throughout the whole evening. Another sucessful Floor Party

It was a huge turn out for the Floor Party organised by Nature View RC held on 31 May 09 at Blk 289E 8th Floor. A total of 10 families responded to the call by the RC who believes that through these floor parties, better understanding and friendship can be achieved, hence promote neighbourliness and kampong spirit . This is the 3rd sucessful floor party that Nature View RC had organised since April 2009.
