The Residents' Committee (RC) in public housing estate promote neighbourliness, racial harmony and community cohesiveness among the residents within the zone. Run by residents for residents, the RC also work closely with other grassroots organisations like the CCC and selected government agencies to improve the physical environment and safety of the local precint.

Nature View RC / FLC Moon Cake Making Workshop - 18 September 09 Friday

Bukti Batok East Nature View RC, together with Family Life Champion, has successfully organised a "Moon Cake Making Workshop for Family" on 18 September 09 . Participants were taught how to make 2 types of simple yet healthier moon cakes with no artificial color, sugar and artificial flavor are added. The 2 types of moon cakes that are taught are namely Snow Skin Moon Cake and the Traditional Moon Cake. The Participants also have a chance to practice on how to make these healthy and delicious moon cakes for their loved ones and family members. Through this workshop, the Organiser aims to promote family bonding and preserve the traditional festival practises. To educate the residents about the importance of keeping the estate clean and tidy, and also to provide opportunities for residents to bond together, Nature View RC, together with Jurong Town Council, has organised a "Block Washing cum Block Party " on 13 Sep 09, at Blk 288G, Bukit Batok Street 25. A Total of more than 118 residents and Grassroots Leaders turn up to support this meaningful event. The Guest-of_honour for the day was Mdm Halimah Yacob, MP for Jurong GRC and Advisor to Jurong GRC GROs

Nature View RC Block Party - 06 Sep 09 Sunday

Over 250 residents of Nature View RC gathered for party time and also to know their neighbours better. Unlike the norm, this block party was an entertaining and educative one. beside the normal stage game and magic show, the organiser specially arranged the appearance of the Barney for the kids , and the Comedy Stunts and Balloon Show for the residents. Residents of Nature View also got a chance to attend the Energy Efficiency Exhibition put up by NEA. Free Popcorn, Balloons, Goodies Bags and Party Sets will also given to all participants. With the strong turn out from the Residents, the Organiser are encouraged and decided to organise another Christmas Party at the end of the year. Do give them your support.
