The Residents' Committee (RC) in public housing estate promote neighbourliness, racial harmony and community cohesiveness among the residents within the zone. Run by residents for residents, the RC also work closely with other grassroots organisations like the CCC and selected government agencies to improve the physical environment and safety of the local precint.

A tradition that Mdm Halimah Yacob has been continuing since 2001, the house visitations by her have been something to look forward to by the residents of Bukit Batok East Constituency. Every Tuesday from 8.00pm on wards, Mdm Halimah Yacob will be spending her evening catching up with the residents at one HDB block to address any necessary needs. Together with her will be grassroots leaders and representatives from the government agencies. This is to ensure that issues that could be attended to immediately could be done so to provide the assurance and confidence to the residents.
