Photobucket The Residents' Committee (RC) in public housing estate promote neighbourliness, racial harmony and community cohesiveness among the residents within the zone. Run by residents for residents, the RC also work closely with other grassroots organisations like the CCC and selected government agencies to improve the physical environment and safety of the local precint.

Residents were excited and surprised to see a special visitor, Mdm Halimah Yacob, MP for Jurong GRC and Adviser to Jurong GRC GROs at their doorsteps despite the heavy rain. House Visit serves as a bridge in bringing the advisor and the grassroots leaders closer to the residents. Mdm Halimah hoped that through these house visit, valuable feedbacks from residents pertaining to their well being and living conditions can be gathered and follow ups.
