The Residents' Committee (RC) in public housing estate promote neighbourliness, racial harmony and community cohesiveness among the residents within the zone. Run by residents for residents, the RC also work closely with other grassroots organisations like the CCC and selected government agencies to improve the physical environment and safety of the local precint.

To reflect the joy and fun that residents and various organisations in Bukit Batok East will have while celebrating this year 46th National Day, the Bukit Batok East New Media Champion is inviting you to join them in the celebration and to post your photos to their celebration's website .
To show their appreciation , they will be giving every participant a bookmark pen together with a Wishing Card to pen down your wishes for the Nation. All collected wishing card will than be put up to form a Giant Nation Flag and will be display during this year BBE's ND Observance Ceremony which are scheduled to be held on 6 August 2011.
